5 cases of domestic violence have been registered since yesterday in Korça, Durrës and Kavajë.

One of the cases in Korça is violence against his mother. The 25-year-old with the initials AD beat his mother, while the latter was granted a protection order.

On the other hand, 71-year-old Dh. M., a resident of the village of Mborje in Korça, has committed violence against his wife, who has a protection order, with whom he is in the process of divorcing. During the search of the 71-year-old's apartment, a quantity of military ammunition and two hand grenades were found and seized as material evidence. 

Meanwhile, in Durrës, the cases are for violence against wives.

The 55-year-old ZB used violence against his wife. During the escort to the police station, he objected to the police officers.

59-year-old F. Xh., from Vadardha e Sukthi, has physically abused his wife.

In Rrogozhina e Kavaja, the 40-year-old AH was denounced for violence. The latter, contrary to the Court's decision, entered the apartment where his wife lives and raped her despite the fact that she has a protection order.

The aforementioned citizens were handcuffed by the police, while the materials were handed over to the Prosecutions at the Courts of Korça and Durrës./ CNA
