2 Jet Skis collide at sea in Golem/ A 31-year-old citizen from Kosovo is injured

This afternoon in Golem, Kavaja, in a place called "Manhatan", about 800 meters from the security perimeter, a marine navigation area, not a beach area, citizen SD, 25 years old, born in Çorovodë, while driving a jet ski, collided in the sea with another jet ski, driven by citizen PB, 31 years old, born in Kosovo.

As a result of the collision, citizen PB suffered injuries and was immediately transported to the hospital by the Border Police services that were monitoring the maritime space. Currently, his life is out of danger.

Citizen SD was accompanied to the Police Station for further procedural actions.

Preliminary verifications show that both drivers of the boats were sailing together and were equipped with life jackets.

The investigation team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the collision between the two Jet Skis./CNA
