41-year-old man on international wanted list arrested/ Accused of 4 criminal

Following the "Operacionalja" operation, a 41-year-old man who was declared an international wanted man has been arrested.

MA, 41 years old from North Macedonia, has been arrested, charged in Austria with "Drug Trafficking", "Dangerous Threat", "Aggravated Extortion", and "Injury".

Another operation by the Special Operations Force Directorate is being finalized, to capture internationally wanted persons.

 

The police operation codenamed "Operation 54" arrests a 41-year-old man from North Macedonia.

 

The 41-year-old was wanted by Austrian authorities for several serious criminal offenses.

 

The structures of the Special Operations Force Directorate, following successive operations to capture internationally wanted persons, finalized the next operation codenamed "Operation 54".

 

As part of this operation, in Tirana, it was possible to locate, capture and arrest citizen MA, 41 years old, born and residing in Skopje, North Macedonia.

 

This citizen was declared an international wanted person, after an arrest warrant was issued against him by the Innsbruck Public Prosecutor's Office, Vienna, Austria, for committing the criminal offenses of "Drug Trafficking", "Dangerous Threat", "Aggravated Extortion", and "Injury".

 

These offenses are provided for by the Austrian Criminal Code, which provides for a maximum penalty of up to 20 years in prison.

 

During the physical search, the 41-year-old was found to be in possession of a quantity of suspected cannabis, which was seized as material evidence.

 

Interpol Tirana is continuing legal procedures for the extradition of this citizen, in cooperation with the Austrian authorities.
