Internationally wanted for murder/26-year-old extradited from Italy

A 26-year-old man has been extradited from Italy to Albania.

His extradition was made after the Shkodra Court imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" on him for attempted murder and illegal possession of weapons.

In April 2024, 26-year-old KL shot and wounded citizen EP in the village of Baks, Velipoja.

 

NOTICE

He attempted to kill a citizen in the village of Baks, Velipojë, in April 2024, and the 26-year-old is extradited from Italy.

Following the close cooperation between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome, with the objective of locating, capturing and extraditing internationally wanted citizens, on behalf of Albania and Italy, for various criminal offenses, within the framework of the "The Wanted" operation, the extradition procedure to Albania of citizen KL, 26 years old, born in Shkodra, was finalized.

The 26-year-old was wanted because in May 2025, the Shkodra Court assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses of "Intentional murder", attempted murder and "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
