A doctor has been criminally prosecuted following a complaint made by a patient that he did not treat her according to the rules of professional ethics.

The incident occurred at a hospital in Tirana.

It is learned that the harassment occurred while the patient was presenting for a medical procedure at the hospital.

"The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Police Commissariat No. 4 referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office and initiated criminal proceedings against citizen A. Gj., 44 years old, a doctor by profession, after a female citizen filed a complaint against him that during the time she presented herself for a medical intervention at the hospital, she was not treated according to the rules of professional ethics. Under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, work is underway to clarify the circumstances and complete legal documentation of the case", the police informed./CNA
