Intensive anti-drug controls in Korça/ 2 people arrested, significant amount of cannabis seized

Intensive controls by the local Korça Police Directorate continue to crack down on cases of production and sale of narcotics.

According to police intelligence information in close cooperation with the Korça Judicial District Prosecutor's Office, intensive controls continue to identify and prevent this criminal activity.

From the information received, it is known that during intensive daily checks, yesterday evening, a group of about 8 people were escorted, where at the end of the investigative actions it was possible to arrest two people, where a considerable amount of the narcotic substance cannabis sativa was seized.

During yesterday evening, searches were carried out on vehicles and homes, and suspected cannabis, considerable monetary values, and vehicles used by the arrested persons were seized.
