A 35-year-old man has been arrested in Vlora for illegal possession of ammunition and explosives. According to police information, citizen AC has been arrested for the criminal offense

"Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition."

The police have found and seized as material evidence 158 live ammunition and 1 can of explosives, suspected to be TNT.

A case of unauthorized possession of combat ammunition and explosives is being investigated.

Following the continuous crackdown on criminal activities, as well as on the basis of information obtained operationally, specialists from the Crime Investigation Section at the Vlora Police Commissariat cracked down on a case of unauthorized possession of combat ammunition and explosives.

During the search conducted at the apartment of citizen AC, the Police services found and seized, as material evidence, 158 live ammunition and 1 can of explosive material, suspected to be TNT.

At the end of the procedural actions, citizen AC, 35 years old, resident of Vlora, was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense of "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Vlora Court of First Instance, for further action. / CNA
