4 apartments worth 300,000 euros are confiscated

Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes of DVP Elbasan have referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office for the initiation of a property proceeding and in cooperation with the Seized and Confiscated Assets Administration Agency, in implementation of the decision of the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, within the police operation coded "Facade 4", have confiscated 4 real estates (apartments), worth about 300,000 euros, which are suspected to have their source from the criminal activities of citizens:

-Mr. Gj., 48 years old, living in Elbasan and NV alias BB, 58 years old, living in Tirana (cohabitants).

These citizens were convicted in 2009, by the Court of First Instance for Serious Crimes, for the criminal offenses "Trafficking of weapons and ammunition", "Production and sale of narcotics" and "Forgery of documents".

Pursuant to the Court's decision, 4 apartments worth 300,000 euros, with a total area of ??about 470 m2, located in Elbasan, were confiscated.

Work continues on tracing and confiscating other assets derived from various criminal activities.
