Looking for drugs, corruption, hostage taking and theft/ 4 people are arrested

Surprise checks to capture wanted persons and bring them to justice. The coded "wanted" police operation is finalized. 4 citizens wanted for various criminal offenses were arrested and put in handcuffs. The structures of DVP Vlorë, in cooperation with the services of the subordinate Police Stations, following the work to combat illegalities, have drawn up a plan of measures in the framework of which surprise checks have been carried out in various premises that may be visited by persons declared in search, in order to capture and bring them to criminal responsibility. As a result of the controls, 4 wanted citizens were arrested for various criminal offences.

The services of the Crime Investigation Sector, in cooperation with the Operational Force of the DVP Vlora, have caught the following citizens:

- M. M., 64 vjeç, banues në Vlorë, i shpallur në kërkim pasi Prokuroria e Posaçme kundër Korrupsionit dhe Krimit të Organizuar i ka caktuar masën e sigurisë "Arrest në burg", për veprën penale "Korrupsioni pasiv i personave që ushtrojnë funksione publike";

- A. Sh., 39 vjeç, banues në Vlorë, pasi Gjykata e Rrethit Gjyqësor Vlorë e ka dënuar me 3 vjet, 3 muaj e 25 ditë burgim, për veprat penale "Prodhimi dhe shitja e narkotikëve” dhe “Prodhimi dhe mbajtja pa leje e municioneve”.

Shërbimet e Komisariatit të Policisë Vlorë kanë kapur shtetasit:

- M.I., 44 vjeç, banues në Vlorë, pasi Gjykata e Rrethit Gjyqësor Vlorë e ka dënuar me 3 vjet burgim, për veprën penale "Heqja e paligjshme e lirisë";

- ED, 41 years old, resident in Vlora, after the Court of the Judicial District of Vlora has sentenced him to 8 months of imprisonment, for the criminal offense "Theft of electricity".

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions./ CNA.al
