The police have prevented the further escalation of a conflict with firearms in the family.

The Blues were notified of a conflict between some family members that could escalate to the use of a firearm and immediately went to the scene.

As a result of the immediate intervention at the scene, citizen EK, 29 years old, resident of the village of Gimaj, was caught and arrested in the act. It is suspected that after a conflict for property reasons, he threatened his uncle, citizen ZK, 64 years old, resident of the village of Ndrelisaj, Shkodër, with a rifle.

As material evidence, a rifle firearm, several ammunition and a quantity of suspected narcotic cannabis sativa were seized and found in the 29-year-old's apartment.

Meanwhile, the procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction Shkodër, for further actions./ CNA.al
