Land and villas / GJKKO's appeal upholds the confiscation of Jani

The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime with decision no. 73 dated 09.05.2023 decided to uphold decision no. 53 dated 28.12.2022 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime in Tirana with subject to confiscation of assets of the subject of Normative Act no. 1 date 31.01.2020 "On preventive measures within the framework of strengthening the fight against terrorism, organized crime, serious crimes and the consolidation of public security order", amended, in relation to the subject Jani Alia and third parties related to to.

With decision no. 53 dated 28.12.2022 the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime (decision left in force with decision no. 73 dated 09.05.2023 of the Court of Appeal), among others, decided:

Confiscation and transfer in favor of the state of assets seized by decision no. 152 dated 30.09.2020 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime as follows:

1. Property of the type Unit with an area of ??27 m2, in the name of the citizen L. Alia, acquired with the sales contract in the amount of 29,000 (twenty nine thousand) Euros;

2. Property of the type Unit with an area of ??38.15 m2, in the name of citizen L. Alia, acquired with the sales contract in the amount of 41,000 (forty one thousand) Euros;

3. property of the type Unit with an area of ??26.4 m2, with address "Palorto" Gjirokastër, in the name of the citizen N. Alia;

4. property of the type Unit with an area of ??130 m2, with address Lagjia Palorto Gjirokastër, in the name of the citizen N. Alia;

5. The object in the legalization process in the name of citizen N. Alia, with address Palorto, Gjirokastër;

6. The property of the olive type, with an area of ??200 m2, in the name of the citizen N. Alia, with the address Borsh, Saranda;

7. Villa object "Kav…….", in the process of legalization in the name of N. Alia etc., with address Borsh, Sarandë.
