Internationally wanted for drug cultivation/ The 27-year-old Albanian is captured and extradited from Italy

A 27-year-old Albanian man, announced as an international wanted man, has been located and captured in Italy.

It is about the young man with the initials AH, who was extradited today to Albania, thanks to the cooperation with Interpol Tirana.

He has been arrested by the police authorities in Italy, with the aim of extradition to Albania, pursuant to the international arrest warrant issued by the Interpol National Central Office Tirana, after the Court of the Judicial District of Gjirokastër has sentenced him, with 6 years of imprisonment, for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants".

Citizen AH is accused of cultivating 1720 narcotic plants in Tepelena in 2016.   

The extradited citizen was handed over to the General Directorate of Prisons, for further procedural actions./ CNA.al
