The boat suffered a breakdown in the bay of Durrës/ The family with 4

The Border Police managed to save a family of 4 members from drowning in the sea.

Through an official communiqué, the Blues inform that the boat the family was sailing with had a breakdown in the bay of Durrës.

The border police forces were informed that 4 members of a family, including 2 minor children, were in danger at sea. 

Thanks to the timely response of the navy, the 4 family members were brought ashore in good health.

"The Border Police Services of DVKM Durrës have been notified that 4 members of a family, among them 2 minor children, were seriously at risk of life at sea, as the floating vehicle (plastic boat) they were sailing with for entertainment purposes had suffered defect, in the bay of Durrës. 

Immediately after receiving this notification, the services of the Border Police of DVKM Durrës have left by boat, towards the signaled place. 

As a result of the rescue operation, the 4 family members were taken ashore, in good health. Also, the boat that had suffered the defect was brought to the shore by being towed by the boat of the Border Police" , it is stated in the police announcement./ CNA.al
