Family violently robbed in Greece/ 4 Albanians arrested, including a girl

Greek authorities have released details from a criminal investigation into an attempted armed robbery that occurred in the Thermos area, in the Aitoloakarnania region.

According to the local prosecutor's office, criminal proceedings have been initiated against four people, three men and one woman, for a series of serious offenses, including attempted armed robbery, violence against persons, and violation of the weapons law.

They are: Romeo Qosja, Lefter Toci, Mariol Toska and Fatbardha Shehi.

The incident is suspected to have occurred in early April, when three masked individuals entered an apartment, threatening a couple and using violence against the head of the household during an attempted robbery.

 They left after being spotted by another family member, while one of them fired twice in the air as they left, without causing any injuries.

Following the incident, police organized a coordinated operation, during which a woman traveling in a vehicle in the area was initially arrested, while two of the suspects were caught hiding in the trunk of the car. The fourth was located and arrested a short time later near a rented apartment.

During the searches, authorities seized a combat weapon, magazines and ammunition, as well as various items suspected of being used in the incident.

Investigations continue, and the people involved face serious criminal charges./ CNA
