GJKKO issues a control order for the apartment of Arben Ahmetaj and some associates

As soon as the Parliament gave the green light, on Friday July 15, the Special Prosecution turned to the court with a request to set the security measure "arrest in prison" for former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, together with the request for permission- control in his apartments and that of his ex-wife and co-habitant, Mirel Mërtiri, Klodian Zoto and several other people.

CNA has learned that GJKKO has reviewed the investigative material, and has issued search warrants in Ahmetaj's apartment, but not only in the apartments of 7 other people included in the former deputy prime minister's file.

After the court's decision, it is expected that the police will carry out inspections in all the apartments of Ahmetaj and other persons involved in this case. We remind you that the request of SPAK was received by judge Erjon Bani./ CNA
