New Year's Eve celebrations/ 20 people injured by fireworks

New Year's Eve has also been accompanied by incidents due to fireworks.

Police say 20 people were injured across the country. 

The police statement states that the injured are out of danger.  

Among the injured, it is reported that a minor is suspected of being injured by a stray bullet.

During the New Year's Eve celebrations, as a result of the setting off of fireworks, until 01:30 on 01.01.2026, 20 citizens were reported injured nationwide, without life-threatening injuries, as well as a 13-year-old minor, who suffered a scratch on her forearm, suspected to be from a blank bullet, in Vaqarr (16 cases in Tirana, 2 in Durrës, 1 in Lezhë, 1 in Fushë-Arrëz and 1 in Korçë)./CNA
