Serious crimes "land" in Lezha/ The businessman's killer is interrogated

On Wednesday, the Portuguese Ruben Saraiva, suspected of being the executor of businessman Ardian Nikulaj, was escorted to the Lezha Police Station.

It is reported that the Portuguese is being interrogated by the Serious Crimes officers of the State Police.

On January 2, the Court of Lezha ordered the security measure of arrest and imprisonment for Ruben Saraiva, accused of murdering Ardian Nikulaj.

Before the jury, the Portuguese denied the accusations and the involvement in the murder of the businessman in Shengjin.

His lawyer stated that Saraiva stated that he had nothing to do with the incident and that he had come to Albania for vacation.

The Portuguese was arrested in Morocco on May 8 at the expense of the Albanian authorities and was extradited to Albania on December 31, 2023./ CNA
