The police have released details of the fire at the hospital in Shkodra.
Blue reports that the fire started in one of the rooms in the surgery ward, on the second floor of the hospital.
According to preliminary information, it is suspected that the fire occurred as a result of an electrical spark.
Fortunately, the firefighters were able to extinguish the flames and only material damage was caused.
"Around 6:30 p.m., in the Shkodër Regional Hospital on the second floor, in the surgery department, a fire broke out in one of the rooms, suspected to be the result of an electrical spark.
Firefighters have made it possible to completely extinguish the fire. The fire caused only material damage.
The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office is working to fully clarify the cause of the fire and to clarify the circumstances of the event," the police announcement states. / CNA
