The Tirana police have given details about Zam Kalemi's gunshot wound that happened late yesterday at the Selita Underpass in Tirana.

It is learned that several people were interrogated and the area's security cameras were seized.

According to the police, the perpetrators used a car with license plates AA 968 JD, used by the perpetrators, reported stolen in Tirana, in 2018, and also the "Nissan" vehicle, gray in color with license plate MHY6650, which was stolen in Greece in February 2023.

From the analysis of the circumstances of the event, there is information that this event is related to some serious criminal events that occurred during 2022 and 2023 in Albania and Greece.

The police give 15,000 euros to anyone with information about the perpetrators.

On 12.01.2024, around 22:55, in the place called "Selita Underpass", an attempt was made to kill citizen Zamir Kalemi, born in 1983, with a firearm, as a result, this citizen received several gunshot wounds, and he is currently in the hospital under the care of doctors.

The Local Directorate of the Tirana Police immediately set up a special investigation group, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, carried out the necessary procedural actions, examined the scene of the incident, examined the place where the vehicle was burned used by the perpetrators, seized material evidence, questioned some citizens in the capacity of a person who knows about the circumstances of the investigation, seized and continues to destroy film footage near the scene.

Currently, the investigative group continues its work to find and seize other important evidence for the investigation.

From the preliminary verifications, the license plates of the vehicle AA 968 JD, used by the perpetrators, were reported stolen in Tirana, in 2018, as well as the "Nissan" type vehicle, gray in color with license plate MHY6650, which was found to be stolen in Greece on 13.02.2023.
