A serious incident occurred this Wednesday morning. A Garda employee was found dead in his apartment.

Citizen A.G, 42, is suspected of committing suicide with his service weapon.

"On 27.05.2026, at around 07:05, in his apartment, on Dibra Street, citizen AG, about 42 years old, an employee of the Guard, was found without signs of life. From the first investigative actions, it is suspected that he committed suicide with his service weapon. The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office is carrying out actions to clarify and fully document the circumstances of the case", the police announce./ CNA
