They took a bribe from the driver/ AMP arrests 2 police officers in flagrante delicto

The Police Supervision Agency has arrested two police officers of Police Station No. 3, Tirana, in flagrante delicto.

It is suspected that these employees have committed the elements of the criminal offenses "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions" and "Abuse of office", committed in collaboration.

More specifically, they were handcuffed:

- D. B, 25 years old, with the rank of Inspector, with the duty of service troop in the General Patrol at Police Commissariat No. 3, Tirana;

- E. K, 23 years old, with the rank of Inspector, assigned as a service officer in the General Patrol at Police Station No. 3, Tirana.

The investigation began immediately after the publication, on 16.07.2026, of video footage on a social media page, where the two workers are seen taking a bribe of 2 thousand lek. 

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Tirana./CNA
