A 21-year-old man has been arrested by Shkodra Police after four firearms and a significant amount of ammunition were found in his apartment in the village of Trush.

The arrest was made as part of the police operation codenamed "Kalibri", carried out by the services of the Shkodra Police Commissariat, following the administration of information obtained during operational work.

During the search of the apartment of citizen RM, 21 years old, the blue uniforms seized an automatic rifle, a rifle, two shotguns, as well as a significant amount of ammunition.

"4 weapons and a considerable amount of ammunition were seized. The 21-year-old man who was carrying the illegal items was arrested in his apartment in the village of Trush."

As a result of the rapid administration of information obtained during operational and operational work, carried out with a focus on preventing illegalities, as well as guaranteeing public order and security, the services of the Shkodra Police Commissariat finalized the coded operation "Kalibri", within the framework of which the RM citizen, 21 years old, was arrested.

"During the search of his apartment, in the village of Trush, a considerable amount of ammunition and 4 weapons (1 automatic, 1 rifle and 2 shotguns) were found, which were sent to the Scientific Police Institute for further examination," the police announced./ CNA
