Assassination in Vora/ The perpetrator stayed masked for 1 hour, fired a bullet

New details have emerged from the assassination attempt that occurred in Bërxullë e Vorës, where citizen Edmond Sula was executed with a firearm.

According to new information from the investigation, the 50-year-old was executed by a single perpetrator.   

The perpetrator remained masked for about 1 hour at a distance of about 50 meters and took advantage of the circumstances, as the area was in darkness.

Afterwards, the perpetrator waited for Sula to leave the premises of the bar near the neighborhood where he lived and, upon arriving at his home, shot him.

So far, it is suspected that the perpetrator used a long gun with binoculars.

After committing the crime, the perpetrator fled on foot through the fields and then allegedly fled in a vehicle he had hidden in another area./CNA
