North Macedonia's Interior Minister, Pance Toshkovski, has given details about a serious tragedy that occurred in the city of Kocani, where a fire broke out in a discotheque in the early hours of the morning.
The incident killed 51 people and injured over 100 others, many of whom are in serious condition.
Minister Toshkovski stressed that the authorities are urgently engaged in providing the necessary assistance and treating the injured. He confirmed that emergency services and security forces are working to secure the site and help all those in need. According to him, the causes of this tragic fire are still being investigated and every effort will be made to clarify the incident.
This incident has shocked not only the city of Kocani, but also the entire country, causing great pain in the community and raising concerns about safety in public spaces.
