"Your attacks must stop, or all hell will fall upon you"/ US attacks

President Donald Trump ordered airstrikes against Houthi rebels in Yemen, according to a post on Truth Social published on Saturday.

In the post, Trump wrote that he had "ordered the United States military to begin decisive and forceful military action against Houthi terrorists in Yemen."

" They have waged a relentless campaign of piracy, violence and terrorism against Americans and others, ships, planes and drones ," Trump wrote.

Trump also criticized his predecessor, former President Joe Biden, writing that the Democratic president's response to the terrorist group "was pathetically weak, so the unrestrained Houthis just kept going."

“ It has been more than a year since a U.S.-flagged merchant ship safely sailed through the Suez Canal, the Red Sea, or the Gulf of Aden. The last U.S. warship to transit the Red Sea, four months ago, was attacked by the Houthis over a dozen times.

These ruthless attacks have cost the US and the global economy billions of dollars, while at the same time putting innocent lives at risk. To all Houthi terrorists, your time has come, and your attacks must stop, starting today. If not, hell will rain down on you like nothing you have ever seen before, ” Trump’s tweet read./ CNA
