Elections in Kosovo/ 50% of ballots from the diaspora are counted

At the Counting and Results Center in Pristina, the counting of ballots from voting outside Kosovo, namely from voting in diplomatic missions in the February 9 elections, is continuing.

The Central Election Commission in Kosovo has announced that the counting of about 50% of the ballots has been completed.

As of Wednesday midnight, 19 out of 43 polling stations have been counted, while the counting process is continuing for the remaining polling stations.

On February 8, 2025, voting took place in 30 diplomatic missions with a total of 43 polling stations and, according to data, out of 20,324 registered voters, 75.57% of them voted, or 15,352 citizens of Kosovo who had selected this voting method during registration.

The CEC in Kosovo emphasizes that the counting process is transparent and in the presence of observers. /CNA
