Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has requested an investigation because, according to him, in the December 28 elections, there were commissioners and individuals who clandestinely engaged in vote manipulation within political entities, harming colleagues and entities.

Kurti emphasizes that suspicions must be investigated, manipulators must be punished, and these cases must never appear again in the future.

"Commissioners and individuals who have clandestinely been involved in vote manipulation within political entities, harming colleagues and political entities, do not have amnesty. We encourage the responsible institutions to carry out their investigations to the end."

The VETËVENDOSJE Movement has always been the guardian of preserving the political will expressed through the vote at the ballot box and will always remain so.

The Republic of Kosovo is an example of democracy in the region and of electoral processes. Addressing through law and accountability cases of suspected manipulation within political entities is essential for the integrity of the process.

"The will of the citizens is sacred, the vote is free, and this will be guaranteed until the end. Suspicions must be investigated, manipulators must be punished, these cases must never appear before us in the future," Kurti said./ CNA
