Presidential election in Kosovo/ Kurti-Abdixhiku without agreement

After meeting with LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku about electing the president, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti told the media that there is no political agreement for the next president as long as there is no name proposed by the party.

"There can be no political agreement on the next president until you name a name," Kurti said.

On the other hand, the leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, said that no agreement has been reached with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, regarding the issue of the country's president, but that meetings are continuing and that the parties are trying to reach a solution.

"We are trying to find a common, consensual solution, through meetings. This is the path that must be followed moving forward. We will follow this path whenever we can to avoid elections," he said./ CNA
