2-day visit/ Putin arrives in India, private dinner with Prime Minister Modi

Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in India for a two-day state visit. The Russian delegation will hold discussions on cooperation in several areas, including trade, economy, science, technology and culture.

Putin will attend the 23rd Annual India-Russia Summit, where several international and regional issues considered important will be on the agenda.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host a private dinner for Putin upon his arrival in New Delhi. The two leaders will hold talks at Hyderabad House in a limited format.

Putin last visited India on December 6, 2021. He visited New Delhi to attend the 21st Annual India-Russia Summit. This will be his first visit to the country since the start of the war in Ukraine in February 2022./CNA
