Tragic in Corfu/ Car with mother and daughter falls from 7-meter bridge,

A serious incident occurred today in the area near the Kouramades bridge in Corfu.

Greek media reports that a car went off the road and fell from the 7-meter-high bridge.

A 75-year-old woman who lost her life and her 48-year-old daughter were traveling in the car.

The Fire Department went to the scene in an attempt to intervene.  

In the end, after the elderly passenger lost her life, her daughter, who was driving the vehicle, was taken to the hospital.

"The extraction of a lifeless woman and another injured woman from a car in the Kouramades area of ??Corfu was completed. 8 firefighters with 2 vehicles were involved in the intervention," the Fire Department said in a statement./CNA
