Israeli army destroys Hamas Bank

Israel's response to attacks by the Palestinian group Hamas has been harsh.

The Israel Defense Forces hit two high-rise towers in the Gaza Strip.

One of the buildings destroyed by bombs is the National Islamic Bank, which is owned by Hamas.

The Israeli ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, said in a press conference that they will destroy Hamas's infrastructure.

"It is time to wipe out the infrastructure of Hamas. Israel will not accept any false comparison between a group that spreads terror and attacks innocents and the Democratic State of Israel. We have seen hundreds of Jews massacred in cold blood.

This is not just a war against Israel, this is a war against the free world, it is a war against civilization, Israel is on the front line against terrorism. If we didn't succeed, the whole world will pay the price for it," said Erdan.

Meanwhile, the bombings have not stopped even during the night, registering more than 1,100 victims on both sides./ CNA
