A policeman in Egypt kills two Israeli tourists

An Egyptian policeman opened fire on Israeli tourists in the Mediterranean city of Alexandria, killing at least two Israelis and one Egyptian, authorities in both countries said.

Egypt's Ministry of Interior said in a statement that one person was injured in the attack, without giving more details.

Israel's Foreign Ministry said the injured person is an Israeli with non-serious injuries. This ministry said that the Israeli authorities are working with the Government of Egypt for the Israelis to return home.
