Ukraine and Russia carry out cross-border attacks

Ukraine and Russia continued their mutual attacks on Saturday. As a result of the Ukrainian attacks, one person lost his life in the Russian border region of Belgorod, said the governor of this region, Vyacheslav Gladkov.

Meanwhile, the Russians carried out rocket attacks on the Ukrainian region of Odesa during the night hours.

Local officials said four people were injured in the attack, which came from Russian-occupied Crimea.

Russian state news agency Tass said Russian troops had shot down a Ukrainian drone near Moscow in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Meanwhile, analysts said satellite images show a large number of trains carrying cargo along the North Korean Tumangang Railway, which straddles the border between Russia and North Korea.

Analysts at the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies, Beyond Parallel, said they have noticed the highest rail traffic in the last 5 years. According to them, the move likely indicates the supply of arms to Russia by North Korea, following the last high-level meeting between the two countries.

They said the loads were covered and it was impossible to tell what was in the train cars.
