Trump ultimatum to Zelensky/ Deadline until November 27 to respond to peace plan

US President Trump has spoken out about the deadline his administration has reportedly given Ukraine to respond to their peace plan.

During an interview, he said that the deadlines could be extended if things go well, but the White House has given an ultimatum that the deadline to respond is Thursday, November 27, Thanksgiving Day in the US, is a convenient time.

A US official asked about the same reports that the US has threatened to cut off intelligence support for Ukraine's weapons as part of pressure to reach a deal said:

"We will not comment on the delicate peace discussions that may or may not have taken place with the press. President Trump is working with both sides to end the war as quickly as possible, which has gone on for far too long, with many senseless deaths. This would never have happened if he were president."
