Trump warns Iran: US forces will remain in the region until the deal is

US President Donald Trump has warned Iran of possible military escalation if the "real deal" is not implemented.

In a post on the Truth Social platform, Trump declared that all US forces, including ships, aircraft and military personnel, will remain deployed "in and around Iran" until the agreement is fully implemented.

He stressed that in case of non-compliance, there will be a harsh military response, warning that the "opening of fire" will be more powerful than any previous operation.

Trump also reiterated his stance that Iran should not possess nuclear weapons and that the Strait of Hormuz should remain open and safe for international traffic.

The statement comes at a time of high tensions in the region, while the US president stressed that the US military is on full alert for any possible scenario.
