US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth warned Iran today that if it does not hand over its uranium, the United States is prepared to take it.
Hegeth shared these statements during a press conference from Washington.
"They will either give it to us voluntarily or we will take it," the secretary said.
Hegseth also noted that the Strait of Hormuz is open, but US military forces will remain in the Middle East to ensure that Iran respects the ceasefire.
According to Hegseth, the US has completely destroyed Iran's defense industrial base, which can no longer produce missiles, rockets, launchers or drones because its factories have collapsed. /CNA
