Trump: Netanyahu has agreed to US plan to end Gaza war

The White House has released a plan to end Israel's war in Gaza, as US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met in the Oval Office today.

In his speech, Trump said that Netanyahu, who is standing next to him, has agreed to the 20-point plan to end the war in Gaza.

While sharing his plans to end the war in Gaza, President Trump said that if Hamas accepts the plan, prisoners will be released and the war will end.

"I'm hearing that Hamas wants to do this," Trump said. 

Trump began his speech by thanking Netanyahu and saying the two worked well together.

Trump said the two discussed Iran, expanding the Abraham Accords and how to end the war in Gaza.

"The level of support I've had from nations in the Middle East and around Israel has been incredible," Trump said.

The two leaders are speaking to the media after meeting at the White House to discuss a possible ceasefire in Gaza. /CNA
