Latest tensions between Zelensky and Trump/ Representatives agree to another meeting

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, announced that diplomatic teams from his country and the United States will meet soon to discuss possible solutions to the conflict in Eastern Europe.

Yermak revealed that he had spoken by phone with US National Security Advisor Michael Waltz. The parties have agreed to a meeting soon, which comes just after the debates in the "Oval Office" between President Volodymyr Zelensky and President Donald Trump.

However, the Ukrainian side seems to have reflected and Zelensky, through a letter sent to Trump, announced that he is ready to sit at the negotiating table under the leadership of the US and Trump to end the war with Russia. /CNA
