Protests in Greece/Heated debates, Mitsotakis will face a no-confidence motion

After Friday's massive protests over Tempi, political confrontation is heating up in Parliament with the morning debate and the no-confidence motion.

Following the decision to establish an investigative committee for Christos Triantopoulos with 277 votes, political leaders will take the floor today and tensions are expected to be high.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said it was the first time he had seen a no-confidence motion circulating without being officially submitted.

Hitting out at the opposition, the prime minister stressed that "I think at some point you will agree among yourselves," he stressed regarding the no-confidence motion that will be presented after the conclusion of the opening remarks./ CNA
