NATO chief: China is helping the Russian economy

NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg said on Wednesday that China is helping Russia's economy as the latter faces Western sanctions over the war in Ukraine.

The NATO Foreign Ministers have held meetings in Brussels with the Asia-Pacific partners: Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand, about the growing challenges, which originate from China.

"China refuses to condemn Russia's aggression. It echoes Russian propaganda. And this is support for Russia's economy," Stoltenberg said.

"At a time when Beijing and Moscow are acting contrary to the international order, it is even more important to stay united."
