The third day of the trial in The Hague/ Jakup Krasniqi's lawyer: To prove the authorship of the documents found in his house

The court session has just started in The Hague against the former leaders of the KLA.

Jakup Krasniqi's defense attorney spoke before the jury stating that the documents found in his house must be verified as to whether or not they belong to her client.

The lawyer emphasizes that this is a shadow of doubt, but it does not prove anything of what the Prosecution teaches.

" We all know what the spokesperson does. The municipality is not involved in military operations. His role is public relations. This was Krasniqi's role at that time.

It cannot be concluded that Krasniqi was responsible for the communications on which the Prosecution places so much weight.

He has not been arrested for crimes.

The prosecution said that documents were found in Krasniqi's house. If the documents were found, this does not prove that Krasniqi is the author of these documents" , said the lawyer./ CNA.al
