The White House has reacted to the court case against the former US president, Donald Trump.

The White House said President Joe Biden is aware of his predecessor's indictment, but stressed that "it's not his focus."

"The president will focus on the American people as he does every day. This is not something that is in focus for him. He will focus on things like making sure we continue to lower prices for the American people," White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told CNN.
