Putin: Russia and China are not creating a military alliance

Russia and China are not creating a military alliance and are not hiding anything in terms of military cooperation, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview broadcast Sunday by Russian state television.

Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping said their countries are friends and pledged closer ties during their meeting in Moscow earlier this week as Russia tries to score victories in what calls "special military operation" in Ukraine.

"We are not creating any military alliance with China," Putin was quoted as saying, according to Interfax.

“Po, ne kemi bashkëpunim në sferën e ndërveprimit ushtarako-teknik. Ne nuk e fshehim këtë. Gjithçka është transparente, nuk ka asnjë sekret”, shtoi lideri rus.

Putin po ashtu tha se fuqitë perëndimore po tentojnë të krijojnë më shumë aleanca globale, duke akuzuar Shtetet e Bashkuara dhe NATO-n se kanë nisur të ndërtojnë një “bosht” të ri, që sipas tij, ka disa ngjashmëri me aleancën e Gjermanisë, Italisë dhe Japonisë në Luftën e Dytë Botërore.

“Prandaj analistët perëndimorë.... po flasin lidhur me atë se Perëndimi po nis të ndërtojë një bosht të ri të ngjashëm me atë që u krijua në vitet ’30 nga regjimet fashiste të Gjermanisë, Italisë dhe regjimi ushtarak i Japonisë”, tha Putin.
