Businessman Alush Koka, the father of the Albanian arrested during yesterday's protests in Skopje, demands that his son be released from prison.
In an interview for Euronews Albania, the businessman says that his son, Isuk Koka, was forced to fire a gun in the air to repel the hooligans who had started damaging his hotel. According to him, everything was for self-defense and there was no scenario.
He underlines that the state has never reacted to identify the persons who commit such acts, such as destruction of Albanian property.
"When the boy saw those crowds, he had a weapon with a permit and when he saw that his property and life were in danger, he reacted. Damages are clearly needed. In our country, if the attackers are arrested, the defenders are arrested. The police never reacted even in the past. They should not harm us", he said.
Alush Koka categorically rejects the accusations of VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski that his son was ordered to kill him.
"They are just lies, the boy was drinking coffee and when he saw that his property was being damaged, when the windows were broken, he reacted. There was never any idea of ??killing the leader. They are montages made by the parties. Skanderbeg is here. "Hundreds of Albanians have gone to prison to protect the bust," he said.
Koka calls on the government and party leaders in RMV to bring justice to his son. /CNA.al
