The MEP and Rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament, Viola von Cramon, has raised the concern that the violent protests in North Macedonia can be used by Russia to spread to Montenegro as well.
Through a post on "Twitter", Viola von Cramon calls on the European Union to speed up actions in the region to avoid the escalation of the situation.
"When EU Member States fail to deliver tangible results for progressive governments in the Western Balkans, we have unrest in North Macedonia and potentially Montenegro that can be exploited by Russia and other foreign actors "./euronews
