The President of the EP visits Kiev/ "Ukraine has its place in the European Union"

The President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, has arrived in Ukraine.

Through a post on social networks, Metsola said that he feels very good to have returned to Ukraine, considering Ukrainians heroes who do not give up.

Metsola underlined that Ukraine has its place in the European Union.

"It feels good to be back in Ukraine and to be with these brave people who inspired the world. With these heroes who refuse to give up. With those who sacrificed everything for our values. With the Europeans, whose home is in our EU," the EP president wrote on Twitter.

She met with the Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament, Ruslan Stefanchuk.

"Ukraine's future is as a member of the European Union. We will always be by your side. It's a pleasure to see my friend Ruslan Stefanchuk again," said Roberta Metsola.
