Grenade explosion in the Court of Podgorica/ One victim and five injured

One person lost his life and five were injured by the explosion of a bomb in the building of the Basic Court in Podgorica, the police confirm.

Sergjan Koraq from the Criminal Police told reporters that the 39-year-old man from Podgorica died after activating the explosive device.

"It is very likely that he activated the explosive device with great destructive power when he entered the Basic Court building," said Koraq.

He confirmed that five people were injured and that they were sent to the Clinical Center.

The police have confirmed that the explosion happened at 11:35 and that investigations are ongoing.
