Italian police uncover cocaine network in Piacenza/ Two Albanians arrested

Two 20-year-old Albanians were arrested in Piacenza for drug trafficking after a long police chase.

The investigations revealed a well-organized cocaine distribution network, mainly in the historic center of the city, where sales were also made in broad daylight.

During a stop in flagrante delicto, the Albanians were caught selling drugs to a passing driver, who was also fined for drug use and his vehicle was seized due to other violations of the Highway Code.

During the arrest, 9 doses of cocaine and 1,700 euros were found, while another 22 doses were found in an apartment used as a supply. The two Albanians, one of whom was illegally in Italy, were detained and are being investigated for participation in the criminal drug
