Greece "on fire" again / The motion for the Mitsotakis government falls with 157 votes against

Protests and riots continue in Greece. Syntagma Square is once again on fire from Molotov cocktails.

There has been a clash between protesters and police forces, which has led to the arrest of dozens of people in several cities across the country, including Athens and Thessaloniki.

While the no-confidence motion against Mitsotakis' government was being debated inside Parliament, thousands of protesters filled Syntagma Square outside. The no-confidence motion against Mitsotakis' government was presented by four Greek opposition parties. Parliament rejected the no-confidence motion, with 157 MPs voting against.
