The head of the Office for Kosovo in the Government of Serbia, Petar Petkovic, said that the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, "does not want talks" or "compromise" with Serbia.
Petkovic made the comments a few days after the last round of talks between the Prime Minister of Kosovo and the President of Serbia, Aleksadanr Vucic, in the framework of the dialogue for the normalization of relations.
In this round, developed with the mediation of the European Union, the implementation of the Basic Agreement for the normalization of Kosovo-Serbia relations was discussed, but no agreement was reached.
"Kurti does not like the Association of Serbian [majority] municipalities; Kurti is the one who did not want to talk about the escalation [of the situation in the north of Kosovo]. Vucic has clearly shown that he is ready for a compromise solution, because this is the only way to protect the Serbs in Kosovo," said Petkovic./ REL
